While providing food to stray animals in a neighboring village, two volunteers of Diasozo Animal Rescue (DAR) stumbled upon an object lying on the ground.
Upon their arrival, they immediately spotted a dog in distress. The dog had visible injuries that were extremely distressing to witness. It was apparent that the poor animal could hardly move due to the severity of the wounds. When one of the rescuers lifted the dog, they noticed that one of its eyes had been purposely removed. Who could even think of doing something so cruel and inhumane? No one who possesses empathy towards animals would ever consider such an act.
As seen in the video, the dog was in a near-unconscious state when it was carefully placed into the rescue truck. The person who saved the poor animal shared that she noticed the eye condition getting worse. It’s truly baffling to think that someone may have deliberately put the dog in this situation and left it to suffer.
The dog’s eye was droopy and the tissue around it was starting to decay. Unfortunately, there was no way to save it. Upon examination, the vet discovered an old jaw fracture and a tightly bound rope around the dog’s chest. It was clear that this was not an unintentional injury. Someone had intentionally hurt this poor animal.
Afterwards, the plan was to perform an eye surgery on her. However, due to her weakened state, the procedure was deemed too risky. The veterinarian administered ample pain medication to help her fall into a deep slumber. Currently, her main focus was on getting as much rest as possible in order to regain her strength.
The weak girl couldn’t eat or drink by herself, but the veterinary team was happy to help her out. After a few days of nursing, she gained some strength and was prepared for surgery. The vet successfully removed her eye and cleaned the surrounding area. She’s expected to make a swift recovery as her eye socket heals. She’s a courageous young woman!
After the surgery, she rested for a few days and surprised everyone by suddenly standing up! She showed remarkable strength and courage, thanking all those who supported her. With this progress, she was now ready to move on to a rehabilitation center and eventually, a loving foster home. By the way, have you seen this adorable puppy?
The cute little kid had to stay at the clinic to get some medical help and something amazing took place! Due to the abundance of affection and care that she received, she made a speedy recovery beyond everyone’s expectations. Consequently, the possibility of her getting adopted arose.
As luck would have it, the lovely child got adopted right away! As soon as a kind-hearted family heard about this brave little soul, they expressed their desire to adopt her and take her to their home. They named her “Honey”.
Honey is now living a new life and has been given a different name. It’s great to see how well she’s doing, and we’re incredibly thankful to DAR for all their efforts in saving her.
