Hard work paid off! Gal has since soared to international recognition after bagging the role of iconic comic book character, Wonder Woman, for the big screen in 2016 - with co-stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill

The fruits of my labor have finally paid off! After being chosen to play the iconic comic book character, Wonder Woman, alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in 2016, my career skyrocketed to international recognition. However, the acting industry can be tough, and I faced countless rejections and disappointments. The process of auditioning, getting callbacks, and ultimately being told your life could change with a role, only to be turned down, can be crushing. Fed up with false promises, I reached a point where I no longer wanted to subject myself to this cycle. As a mother and wife, I also had to consider the impact of constantly traveling for work on my family. My husband had a lot of work in Tel Aviv, and bringing our daughter to LA to look for acting opportunities added even more pressure to an already stressful situation.

While reflecting on her past, Gal expressed her gratitude that her law career did not go as planned. She had convinced herself that being a lawyer would allow her to make peace and facilitate agreements between people.

'I would be the sh***iest lawyer': Clearly a beauty with brains, Gal was studying law before her modelling, pageantry (pictured) and acting endeavours took over - but admitted she was glad the career path didn't take off
