At the beginning of the week, Scarlett Johansson spoke up in defense of Woody Allen during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. This move did not sit well with Allen’s daughter, Dylan Farrow, who took to social media to criticize the actress. Maybe as a result of the backlash, the 34-year-old star of “Lucy” attempted to remain inconspicuous while walking through New York City’s John F. Kennedy airport on Friday. Sporting a low-pulled hat and sunglasses covering her eyes, she kept her gaze focused on the ground as she exited her flight.
Scarlett Johansson, aged 34, was recently seen at New York City’s John F. Kennedy airport trying to keep a low profile while on the move. The star of Avengers: Endgame donned an orange jumpsuit paired with a light blue coat and white Converse sneakers. Additionally, she was spotted accessorizing with several gold necklaces and a bracelet while wheeling a black carry-on behind her.
As she made her way towards the city, the blonde kept a low profile by avoiding eye contact with anyone around her. Scarlett couldn’t resist giggling at a man walking beside her at one point, but the blonde remained focused on avoiding attention. Walking alongside her was someone carrying a bright red-orange umbrella, already opened and ready to brave the outdoors.
The rising actress recently traveled to New York for an interview where she expressed her disbelief in the sexual abuse allegations made against Woody Allen by his adopted daughter, Dylan, in the early 1990s. Despite starring in three of Allen’s films, Scarlett Johansson’s support for the director has remained unwavering. Mia Farrow, Allen’s former partner and Dylan’s mother, accused him of the abuse in 1992.
Scarlett Johansson recently spoke in defense of Woody Allen in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. She stated that she doesn’t regret working with him on three movies in the mid-2000s, despite allegations made by Dylan Farrow that he sexually abused her when she was only seven years old. A court case in 1993 cleared Allen of the allegations, but Farrow still stands by them and wrote an open letter about it in 2014. Allen’s latest film, A Rainy Day in New York, has been shelved in the US. Johansson has a few upcoming projects, including Jojo Rabbit and Black Widow, and is also voicing a character in the animated movie Sing 2. She has a daughter named Rose with ex-husband Romain Dauriac, and was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
